Lime Paint is a dead-flat "live" paint designed to produce the elegant, rustic finish of traditional limewash in an easy to apply, modern latex paint emulsion. This finish changes while it dries, producing a distinct bloom effect. Formulated and richly pigmented to produce complex, lustrous colors that withstand fading. Lime Paint lightens when it dries, unlike many other finishes, and produces a finish with a variety of values. We typically recommend darkening your selection slightly when working with this product and testing prior to application for this reason.
Lime Paint does not require any special wax or sealer, nor does it require special mineral primers. Unlike traditional lime-based finishes no special consideration is needed to surface porosity. The finish is highly durable, can be cleaned with ease and is designed to resist marring.
We reccomend Lime Paint be applied within one month to produce the strongest "bloom" effect.
All orders of this product are stored in our physical color library for your future reference, ensuring color and finish continuity.

Lime Paint Samples are available in a limited number of colors to demponstrate finish & effect. For additional colors, our Chips, Brushouts or Test Pots are an accurate representaion of hue.
Shelf-Life
This product is best used fresh! We mix all orders of this product to order and reccomend using Lime Paint as soon as possible for best effect. We do not reccomend using it after one month, as little effect may be achieved.

SHEENS
The paint sheen or special finish you select has a significant impact on the color appearance and the durability and overall feel of your final paint job.
Flat with minimal to no gloss, creates a rich, highly saturated look and is more forgiving to surfaces with imperfections. However, traditional matte finishes have reduced durability and washability, making it ideal for low-traffic areas such as formal dining rooms and bedrooms. Our 'Super Flat' special finish offers a fully washable matte finish.
Eggshell, with a subtle gloss, offers similar characteristics to matte but provides improved cleanability. It is a popular choice for moderate traffic living areas, such as living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
Satin offers an elegant, velvety gloss without appearing too shiny. It is a great option for high-traffic rooms, moist areas like kitchens and bathrooms, trim work, and cabinets where cleanability is essential.
Semi-Gloss not only creates an elegant look but also provides excellent durability and cleanability. As the sheen becomes glossier, the paint reflects more light, lending the color a luminous effect. Semi-gloss is commonly used for cabinetry, trim, doors, and casework.
Gloss, with its high shine finish, is the most reflective of all sheens. It is typically used as a top coat in high-traffic areas where durability and cleanability are key concerns, such as doors, trim, and cabinetry. This sheen can be achieved using our non-yellowing polyurethane product, which adds an extra layer of protection to your surfaces. Gloss is also ideal for adding a touch of glamour to your home, making it a popular choice for accent pieces and statement-making surfaces.
SHIPPING TIMELINES
Orders placed before 12:00pm PST will typically ship the same day. Orders placed over the weekend or on recognized holidays will typically ship on the next business day.
Standard ground shipments typically arrive in 2-6 business days. Envelopes arrive in 1-4 days. Express options are also available.
Delivery arrival times are estimates only and may change based on order volume or other circumstances, like weather-related delays.
Next Day Air orders must be placed by 12:00pm PST to guarantee same day shipment and next day delivery.
RETURNS/DAMAGE
Because of the hand-crafted made-to-order nature of our products we unfortunately cannot accept returns of unwanted or unused products at this time.
We always offer replacement or full refund in the rare instance of damage incurred during transit from either us or our shipping partners.

We use UPS to ship internationally, and USPS as a shipping option to Canada only. For all international shipments, your order will be subject to applicable customs, tariffs, duties, and any required taxes.
