Lime Paint is a dead-flat "live" paint designed to produce the elegant, rustic finish of traditional limewash in an easy to apply, modern acrylic paint emulsion. This finish changes while it dries, producing a distinct bloom effect. Formulated and richly pigmented to produce complex, lustrous colors that withstand fading. Lime lightens while it dries, unlike many other finishes, producing a surface with a variety of values. We typically recommend darkening your selection slightly when working with this product and testing prior to application for this reason.

Lime Paint does not require any special wax or sealers, nor does it require special mineral primers. They can be used if desired and should be considered in high-moisture interior applications. Unlike traditional lime-based finishes no special consideration is needed to surface porosity. The finish is highly durable, can be cleaned with ease and is designed to resist marring.
